May-Treanor and Walsh Look Golden:
American beach volleyball stars Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh look nealy unstoppable in Beijing. They have not run into much of any trouble throughout their first few matches, and they did not even go into an extra set thus far in the Olympic Games. They seem poised to win gold and have really been the favorites for the past two Olympics as the have not lost a match in over one hundred matches. Their success in beach volleyball is truly unparalleled by just about any volleyball team in recent history. Even President Bush acknowledged their success and took time to speak with them and practice a little bit with them on the beach court. The teamwork and chemistry the two partners have is truly one of the great attributes of their success, and without the continuity they have they would struggle to keep their consistency as a team. Like other great athletes, their focus is impeccable, and they stay on the top of their game every game like a well oiled machine. Anything less than gold in Beijing for the two would be a shock for most of the viewers and even the athletes playing beach volleyball with them.
